A dedicated professional in the youth development field, Bobby Harris has been a Camp Director since 1986 and has served URJ Camp Coleman since the summer of 1992. Bobby has an MA in Education and is a Certified Camp Director from the American Camp Association as well as a graduate of the Foundation for Jewish Camp’s Executive Leadership Institute .

A passionate advocate for professional development of camp staff, Bobby helped to found the URJ’s Olim Fellowship program for 1st and 2nd year Bunk Counselors. As an ardent supporter for Jewish youth he also created the J-Jolt (Jewish Journey of a LifeTime) program—a unique mentoring program for Bar/Bat Mitzvah which is sponsored by URJ. He lives with his wife Ellen and 2 children (Max and Sophie) in Marietta, GA
